研究のメインテーマ
腎臓内分泌代謝学の広い視野に立脚した生活習慣病診療の開拓
我々腎臓内分泌代謝内科は、腎臓・内分泌・糖尿病の専門3分野のクロスオーバーの中で患者の病態を理解し、個別の専門性だけでは達しえない観点から、新しい内科診療の開拓に努めております。我々の研究においても3分野の融合を意識し、内分泌学・代謝学の観点からの、生活習慣病とその合併症の発症機構の解明と、新しい治療法の開発を目指しております。マウス・ラットを用いた基礎研究を続け、現在の研究テーマは以下の通りです。
- 骨格筋ミトコンドリア代謝の改善に基づくサルコペニア治療の開発
- 腎皮質アデニル酸代謝の改善に基づく虚血性腎症治療の開発
- 臓器代謝の変容を介したエピゲノム異常に基づく生活習慣病発症機構の解明
